white noise.

i'm keeping up with the neutral theme this week.
it's much less stressful.
since i was wearing light colors, i figured the least i could do was find a nice green background.
went to one of my favorite parks:
right up against the water...people surf.
rolling green hills...kids slide down on cardboard.
not too crowded during the week...bloggy people take pictures.
i walked all the way up to the lookout where it was
windy and scorching hot.
it was so bright that i ended up getting washed out in most of the pictures.
oh wells...gray maxi, white blazer.
you get the picture.

I truly love the way you've done it here. The heather gray lends a very relaxed feel while the white blazer crisps it up. Perfect juxtaposition!

So light and airy. The wind also adds to the effect. I get that wash out with my photos sometimes when the sun is too bright and light colored clothes... Looks pretty though...

I wish I could pull of the maxi dress, but I just don't think I could do it. It would make some summer days so easy and carefree.

I just bought a maxi dress, and I think I'll try wearing it with a light blazer too! This dress with a thick/funky belt next time?

Those neutrals look smashing against that fantastic background.
(Smashing? What am I, British?? Where did that come from? Awkward.)

I'm still amazed that you live in Hawaii, seems like another world to me! As a cold-born Canadian, I doubt I'd be able to wear anything with sleeves in such heat and yet here you are rocking the maxi and the blazer like nothing ;)
